NCS Guidelines

  • At 07:59 PM disable IRLP.
  • Recognize each station by Call, Name and Location after each set of letter check-ins
  • Go through announcements, training and traffic, in that order. When necessary, traffic may be accommodated earlier when it is to be listed on another net.
  • Ask for check-ins at 10 minute intervals.
  • Start informal comments with stations on emergency power, or mobile/portable
  • Don't forget to provide EC and DEC with participation report
  • Remember: You are the NCS and you are in charge. This script is just a guide. Use your discretion in the conduct of the net.
